We'll start by discussing what makes a successful blog and the many different forms of success. Before jumping into our list of 7 steps you must take to ensure your blogging success, we will also review the basic formula that many bloggers use to achieve success. Let's put it.

While these factors can affect how you structure your blog, they have little effect on your ability to grow it. Instead, we should focus on the components that make blogging successful and determine how we can apply those components to our own blogs. You probably won't be surprised to hear that the measure of success is income.
The logic behind this is simple. If you're not making money, you're not really an "entrepreneur." Your blog is just a hobby in your free time. On the other hand, the amount of income you need to earn in order to be considered successful depends on the amount of money you need to survive and the expenses your business incurs. Basically, as long as you have money left over after paying your personal and business bills, you're golden.
Other success metrics can include traffic, user engagement, social shares, and email subscribers, but it all depends on what your business goals actually are. Do you want to sell more products through your blog? Your successful launch will include significant profits from these products, as well as a medium sized email list and high levels of user engagement. Are you just trying to make more income from your entire blog? Your successful launch will likely include a lot of traffic and user engagement.
We'll cover seven concrete steps you can take to find your way to success, but first, let's take a look at the common path most successful bloggers take. It begins with a problem to solve and ancillary products or products to sell. Ideally, this product is designed to solve this problem. These sites then use their blogs to provide free, valuable, high-quality content and use things like search engine optimization, social media, guest posts, and even paid advertising to drive traffic to their sites.

First1: position yourself
It's hard to get noticed when you're covering a wide range of topics. Everyone has their own set of problems that every blogger deals with. What you need is a niche that will help you target a specific market within the broader topic to which your niche belongs. It is important for you to define your niche before you start blogging or in the early stages of blogging, to say the least.
Don't simply start a blog about losing weight. Start a blog for those trying to lose weight on a ketogenic diet without machine training or strength training. Don't start a blog about gardening. Start a blog about urban gardening, growing your own food, or growing a specific type of plant. Basically, have in mind the general topic you want to start blogging about, and find a target market within that topic.
It's not required, but it makes things a lot easier if you're really passionate about where you are. It's easier to write about something you love and care about and want to share with others. This step should come after you have determined your niche. Once you know your target audience, you can work on discovering all the personal issues they have and identifying their main pain points. Why is this important? People solve the problems they face by reading blogs, watching videos, and buying products. Yes You can simply write what you think is the most popular content and create what you think is the most profitable product, but having solid evidence of what your audience cares about is the best way to ensure success.
By becoming active as they hang out online, you can really start to understand your audience before you even launch your blog. Try forums, Facebook groups, Quora, Reddit, Stack Exchange, and similar sites tailored to your industry. You can also try to build relationships in your niche. Once you start blogging, take a minute to ask your email subscribers and commenters what their biggest problem is.
#3: You have something to sell
It's not something you have to do before you start blogging, but it is something you should do as soon as possible. What you sell may refer to your own product, an affiliate product, or even a sponsor product. It doesn't matter who the product is as long as it generates revenue for you. You might see top bloggers posting weekly blog posts, YouTube videos, and podcast episodes, and you kill it on every social media platform imaginable. What you don't see is the fact that these bloggers work full time on their blogs and hire employees or contractors to handle things they don't have time for.
This again means that you are not trying to replicate what another blogger is doing. Instead, you should choose one channel to focus on and master before implementing others. This is a big reason why I recommend building your blog with a platform that allows you to create a proper, full-fledged website rather than a blog with just a few simple pages. Platforms like WordPress.org allow you to create beautiful pages designed to attract and convert your readers. You can do this with page builders, email marketing plugins, plugins that help you manage and hide affiliate links, and more.
These types of tools will help you create two basic pages that few bloggers use. This is the Start Here page and the Resources page. It's obvious to create a homepage about page, blog, and contact form. On the other hand, Start Here pages allow you to create a page full of links to the best and most valuable content. It helps you to distinguish what needs to be converted. A resource page is a page that you can use to create a list of links (including affiliate links) to tools you use in your niche and anything else you think your audience would be interested in, such as books and courses.
